Tranny or Granny
Haven’t made an either/or quiz in three years or so, so I thought – like a dog returns to his vomit – I’d have another go.
As this is my blog, rather than the B3ta Newsletter, I’ll give you some geeky background that I wouldn’t normally bore people with as no one gives a shit.
I’ve rejigged the javascript back-end so that one bit of code now controls all the either/or games such as Female or Shemale and Man milk or Moo Milk.
The code no supports image reveals. Not that essential in Tranny or Granny, but might be useful in the future.
New layout – using the width of the screen rather than a big scroll.
Spent a fair bit of time making the backing music. Found that Garageband is bloody awesome. It allows me to make quick music ideas without fighting the technology.

I have some suggestions since you seem to be making the best either/or game engine in the WORLD!
1. use the label html element around your radio button and label, then we’ll be able to click on the word granny to select the radio button.
2. allow me to click anywhere on the div you pop up with the full size image to make it go away and allow me to carry on quizzing.
3. bonus points for adding keyboard navigation and shortcuts etc… but I think that’s a little too much don’t you?

Great suggestions.
1. Done. I was looking for a way to do this, and the label stuff works well. Sadly doesn’t do much in Safari, but Firefox is fine. I presume IE is ok, but I’m not on a PC this morning so I can’t check.
2. Good suggestion. Done, except on the final score screen as there’s lots of options on that pop-up. Hopefully this goes some way to address the (unspecific) criticism made on the b3ta board that the reveal is a bit annoying.
3. Not going for the bonus points as I don’t think anyone is ever going to play my quizzes long enough for keyboard shortcuts to be needed.
